Question:

"What type of tip do you use on your pool cue?"

Answer:

When I was younger I swore by medium Le Pro pool tips and thought I would never try another brand in my life. Then, a few years ago, my friend and fellow pro Tiffany Nelson asked me to try a “Sniper” made by Tiger Products. After trying them I have now become an official “Sniper girl” for life! I love them…

Over the years I have tried so many different types of tips and found that layered tips seem to last longer and you don’t miscue as much. Not to say that non-layered tips are not good I just prefer a layered tip.

If you asked any other pro-player the same question they all might respond saying they LOVE their type of tips. ALL players have their own preferences, and there is no right or wrong answer. But what is important to me, is that I don’t wear through tips as fast and I for sure do not want to miscue on every other shot.

There are so many to chose from: Moori, Elk Master, Le Pro, Triangle, Flying Pig, Kamui, Samsara, Stingray, Talisman, Tiger, Water Buffalo, and even Milk Duds. Plus there are soft tips, medium, and hard tips. So, unfortunately you just have to try them all until you find one that works best for you.

Best of luck to you,

Viper
