 Chris’
introduction to pool came in 1990 while she was a student at Oklahoma
State University. She soon discovered the highly competitive and
challenging nature of pocket billiards and developed a true love
for the game. It was in the mid-90’s that she began to realize
her potential to play at a very high level and in 1999, she saw
the culmination of her hard work by winning the Billiard Congress
of America’s North American 8-Ball Championship - Women’s
Open Division. She has enjoyed continued success in both tournament
and league play. Then in 2008, she was offered the opportunity to
take over the operations of the Cue Times Billiard News - a billiard
publication that has been informing, educating, and connecting the
Rocky Mountain pool community for nearly two decades.
